  • SOLAR PLUS TYPE-C, NO MORE AA BATTERIES: A built-in 2000mAh battery runs both valves, and the solar panel tilts anywhere from 0 to 120 degrees so you can aim it at the sun even when the faucet sits in shade. Through a run of overcast days you top the battery up indoors through the USB-C port with a 5V/1A cable, which is not included. The app shows the exact battery percentage, so you are not guessing how much charge is left.
  • TWO ZONES YOU PROGRAM SEPARATELY: Zone 1 and Zone 2 each hold their own schedule, up to 8 plans per zone, split as 4 normal plans on set days and start times plus 4 cyclic plans that water for a set spell, pause, then repeat until an end time. Run the lawn on a morning cycle and the raised beds on a short interval cycle. Flow is shared between the two outlets, so schedule the two zones at different times when you want full pressure on each one.
  • APP CONTROL, VOICE CONTROL AND A 1 TO 7 DAY RAIN DELAY: The timer connects straight to the Smart Life app over 2.4 GHz WiFi, and voice control is available for Alexa and for Google Home. When rain is forecast you set a 1 to 7 day rain delay from the app instead of driving home to shut the water off, and the app keeps the last 7 days of watering records so you can check what actually ran.
  • BUILT FOR THE SPIGOT, NOT THE WORKBENCH: The housing is UV-resistant ABS rated IP55 and measures 11.5 x 7 x 11.7 cm (4.5 x 2.7 x 4.6 in), so the timer hangs off a standard outdoor spigot with no bracket and no wiring. The box holds the timer, 2 quick connectors, 2 faucet adapters, 2 thread seal tapes, 1 rubber washer and the manual.
  • READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY: The timer joins 2.4 GHz WiFi only and does not support a 5 GHz band. It needs 7.25 to 116 psi of line pressure, so it does not work on a rain barrel or any gravity-feed setup. Below 40°F (4.5°C) drain it and bring it indoors to protect the valve, or leave it set up year-round in a sunlit sunroom or greenhouse. The 5V/1A USB-C charging cable is not included.
